What is root canal treatment?
The root canal procedure is simple. A small hole is drilled in the damaged tooth, and the soft tissue inside, or the pulp, is removed. Then the tooth is cleaned and sealed to protect it. Once the treatment is complete the tooth can be restored with a crown or a filling.
